Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions are intended to define the terms and procedures for using the online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) service provided by GOCR.kr (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"), as well as the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between users and the Service provider.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" refers to the online OCR service provided by GOCR.kr.
  • "User" refers to a person who uses the Service in accordance with these terms.
  • "Member" refers to a User who has created an account by registering with the Service.

Article 3 (Provision of Service)

The Service provides the following features:

  • OCR functionality to extract text from images
  • Multi-language text recognition (Korean, English, etc.)
  • Copying and downloading of extracted text
  • Other OCR-related services

Article 4 (Service Usage)

The Service is basically provided for free. However, some premium features may be offered for a fee, and additional charges will apply in such cases. The fees and payment methods for paid services are as posted on the relevant service pages.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following activities:

  • Infringing on intellectual property rights such as copyrights of others
  • Interfering with the stable operation of the Service
  • Using the Service for illegal purposes
  • Other activities that violate applicable laws

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Service does not guarantee the accuracy of OCR recognition results. Users must verify the accuracy of results obtained through the Service themselves, and are responsible for all decisions and actions based on such results.

Article 7 (Changes to Terms)

The Service may change these terms if necessary, and any changed terms will be announced through notices within the Service. If a User does not agree to the changed terms, they may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw.
